BioI am a writer of magical fiction and technical manuals. I abhor sweets, only have nine fingers, and drink a lot of tea. My first novel, STRUTS & FRETS, comes out Fall of 2009 from Abrams Amulet. I'm currently at work on another YA novel right now.
In 1999, I was named Best Supporting Actor in Pittsburgh for my turn as Costard in Shakespear's Love's Labours Lost. But that was a different life and I'd rather not talk about it unless it's very late and I've had at least three pints of Guiness.
I was born in Columbus, OH, and now live, with my wife and two sons, outside Washington, DC by way of Pittsburgh, PA, Phoenix, AZ, London, UK, Brooklyn, NY, and Seattle, WA. I swear we're staying put for awhile.
